  • Biratnagar, Morang – 382 Km from Kathmandu / 9-10 hours
  • Rakxaul Border, Birgunj, Parsa – 140 Km from Kathmandu / 6-7 hours 
  • Sunauli Border, Bhairahawa (Rupandehi) – 265 Km from Kathmandu / 8-9 hours
  • Rupaidiha, Nepalgunj (Banke) – 522 Km from Kathmandu / 12-13 hours
  • Mohana, Dhangadhi (Kailali) – 668 Km from Kathmandu / 14-15 hours
  • Gadda Chauki, Mahendranagar (Kanchanpur) – 701 Km from Kathmandu / 18-19 hours

With Tibet, China is:

  • Kodari, Sindhupalchok – 114 Km from Kathmandu / 5-6 hours
  • Rasuwagadhi, Rasuwa – 156 Km from Kathmandu / 8-9 hours

Special Notes: The land borders mentioned above are facilitated with the Department of Immigration (DoI). Make sure to put the entry and exit stamp on your Passport at the Immigration Department before leaving or entering Nepal.
